The Things That Keep Me Up at Night

Why is Jingle Bells a Christmas song? Winter Wonderland? Let It Snow? Frosty The Snowman? Sleigh Ride? All of them are good songs but why are they associated with Christmas and why can't we play them in January or February? Those are the real snowy months anyway.

It's been a slow, slow day in the Peach household.

I personally am a bit creeped out by Frosty, but the rest, I'd listen to in January.

Frosty, no.

Christmas Songs take me to a happy place. Many times throughout the year you can hear me humming a Christmas song to cheer myself up; even in July ;)

I read somewhere that Jingle Bells was actually written as a Thanksgiving song and people just continued to sing it up through Christmas.

Its not something that had crossed my mind - until now! :)
But you are right - they are winter songs really, so play then when you wanna!
