Such a Talent for Picking the Most Appropriate Time

You know I'm not one for long range plans but this week I had it all set up to start fall house cleaning. I have the time and I definitely have the need. Hell, I was even sorta looking forward to it.

Instead I'm spending far too much time in the bathroom purging myself of whatever I've just eaten. Mr. Gallbladder Attack seems to be back in town and he evidently wants my undivided attention.

And I can't even get the SOB to pitch in an help me clean the balcony.

Poor you! I hope you feel better and fast! It's always nice to get out of cleaning but not that way.

I feel your pain, I've had a couple of those int he last week. Unfortunately, I can't do much about them until I come back from my trip. I might leave my gallbladder in Germany or Greece. Good thing I have travel insurance...ciao

Oooh, I've never had the gall bladder thing but I can imagine it must be awful. Maybe it's time to send that SOB on a permanent vacation so he can't bother you any more?

hi, long time reader - first time commenter --- take care of that gallbladder! i had about two years of nightmarish attacks which i ignored - only to have mine so infected and inflamed that when they went to remove it with a one day outpatient laproscopic procedure they couldn't and had to do a whole open surgery which landed me in the hospital with fifty staples across my tummy and a not so fun recovery! the great news is that after it was removed a bunch of other problems disappeared too - like acid reflux!
i so do not envy you right now. take care. xoxox jane

p.s. i have no idea how i found you - must've been when i was living in munich and reading lots of expat stuff - plus you and i both knit, anyhow, thanks - it's a good read. i like everything you have to say!

Bad gallbladders give you acid reflux? Wow! I didn't know that!

I do need to have it removed but I don't have time before my trip. Today things are better and I hope it stays that way until I can get back home.

re: acid reflux - i am not sure what the actual medicla truth is, but my acid reflux was horrible before, was chomping down all sorts of stuff before, during a d after eating/drinking - have not had to do anything like that since then so have drawn the assumption it was related. who knows? am happy to be done with it!

feel better.

OMG, sometimes I swear we live parallel lives. I had a bad attach last week. I hadn't had one in ages but this one really hurt. Damn gall bladders.

Are you feeling any better now?
