Peril

I believe I could use a good threatening. There's nothing like scaring the living hell out of me to get me to do what I'm supposed to be doing.

Gah. I'm dreading the doctor showing up tomorrow and yet I know what she's going to say is inevitable. And necessary.

Hope by the time she leaves I'm pale, shaking, and saucer-eyed. I could use it.

Yikes, I hope it won't be that bad but you're right, sometimes we need to be scared into doing what we know we need to do.

(I wish someone would scare me into putting all that crapola back in my cupboard!)

well if whatever you're NOT doing is putting you in a situation where you KNOW you're supposed to be doing it then....I could nag you. Apparently I'm very good at nagging people. That's what all my exes say.

It's really sad, but true that humans sometimes really need ultimatums to get their acts in gear. I respond slowly to requests, but ultimatums, boy I'm like speedy gonzales!

You are being good, aren't you? [I'm using my really stern teacher voice that makes small people cry without rising above a whisper]. I may not know what you're up to, but you know, and you know what's right and wrong. Don't let yourself down. Do I make myself clear? [you say "yes Miss" with your eyes cast downward, tears rolling repentantly]. Well show me your best then. [you walk off, ready to take care of yourself].

This is tough love. Hope it helps.

Good. I hope she grills you like S'mores. I support any lecturing that will keep you healthy.

If you won't do it for yourself every day- do it for B.

I love you- I can't help it!
