I Do Take Requests

I've struggled all week to come up with something - anything! - about which to write and I can't come up with a thing. I can't even come up with a good meme to bore the shit out of y'all with.

A friend of mine in California and I had a laugh the other day when we talked about how I found out by accident that B thought that the Osmonds were a hard rock band. Did I ever tell y'all that story?

I'll tell it tomorrow if you want. Just let me know.

Delurkalert! Hi there DP, I have two requests! Play this crazy movie meme game that's spreading like bacteria: http://beckyhaycox.com/hamblog/?p=449

AND/OR: I want to hear more about the South. And food. Southern food. This yankee is trying hard to shake my bad notion that the south is one big "there", esp. with food. Like, not all southerners know Neeses food products. Oh, anyway. If you have any gravy-inspired writings in you, I'd love to hear them.

I want to hear about how B thought the Osmonds were a hard rock band.

And also... more about the Telemann Conservatory. You know... IF you know about that kind of thing.

Have you ever written about your prom? You could write about that...

Do you have any really great birthday memories you could share?

You can always write more about your first year in Germany.

How did you get into knitting?

What do you think happens to Harry Potter and company after the last book?

Yes! Tell us about B and the Osmonds. "I'm a little bit rock 'n' roll" Donny and David Cassidy were tied for first place on my list of "First Loves". *sigh*

Hard rock.....too funny
B must not have ever seen the Donny and Marie show, or the Osmonds in the laste 60's early 70's.

I read you have a sore right elbow, do tell, are you a thrower in continental land??? : )

The local PBS station ran an Osmond concert over the weekend (it's fund raising time again.) Talk about feeling 10 years old.. it was so cool.

Please tell the Hard Rock Osmonds story! BTW, I just saw that Donny Osmond is in a new movie with Martin Lawrence called "College Road Trip".
If you are stuck for something to write - have you ever told the story of how you came to be a Dixie Peach living in Germany? How did you and B meet?
