Recognizing the obvious
Just in case you didn't notice when you strolled in, I've changed the name of my blog to be just Dixie Peach. It just seemed simpler for me to call my blog the same name as is in the URL, plus while "It's All Just Smoke and Mirrors" has meaning to me, y'all don't know the meaning so it's pointless.
Plus Dixie Peach is simply shorter. I'm all for paring down the extraneous.
So change your Blogrolls and sidebars and all that dandy stuff.

Kirsti, for you I will tell you the story.
When I first started the blog someone had just asked me how I manage to take care of B - doing all that handicap care stuff and all - and I replied "I only make it look easy. It's all just smoke and mirrors." meaning it's really just an illusion. That sentence was running through my mind when the blog was created and I thought about how blogs are only what you want others to see and can be just an illusion - just smoke and mirrors.
I liked the name but like I said, I wanted to pare things down a bit. It is a mouthful.
Thanks for the heads up. I think some of us would never look unless you tell us that sort of thing!
Your blog name caught my eye over at Pointless Drivel. Anything about Dixie and Peaches usually does~living in the south and all.

I know what "smoke and mirrors" means, I used to say it all the time when I was a grant writer! ;D
I really like the smoke and mirrors reference, but I'm all for paring. Future generations looking in here won't know of your site's origins, I'm thrilled to have one up on them!

I didn't have to change anything because I had it all wrong before. Sorry for not paying enough attention.
I'm not changing it. I'll just act like it's a secret code now, see, I'm special! I use secret code! (insert maniacal Bevis and Butthead laughter here).
