Variations On A Theme
Descartes: Dubito ergo cogito; cogito ergo sum. (I doubt, therefore I think; I think therefore I am.)
Dixie: Hotito ergo sweatito; sweatito ergo irk. (I'm hot, therefore I sweat; I sweat and I'm sick to death of it.)
Some days it's hard to tell me and Rene apart, eh?

Your Latin is REALLY impressive.
Showing off that big brain again, huh? :-)
I have always had problems telling the two of you apart. :)
Nice Latin! We had 113 degrees today, and only 28% humidity. There is a rumor that we might get a cooling trend for the weekend....only 99 degrees!
You poor thing. My mother-in-law was telling us how hot it still is there. Our heat wave broke yesterday and I actually considered putting on a sweatshirt today. Here's hoping you'll be doing the same very soon.
This is very good. It may help me smile if I adopt it as my motto today, to help me deal with the unreasonable temperatures. (TEMPER being the operative part of that word!)
*walks off muttering* I love the sun I love the sun I love...
Can I borrow that slogan? Why in the world would I think of having surgery during a heat wave where my pits sweat worse than ever and I can't reach them to blot?
We don't have air here at the house and the fans don't seem to be cutting it. But at least we have power. Lots of people don't.
Find the spray bottle, fill it with water, leave it in the fridge and spray at will.
