A quandry

Is it worse to not update a blog even when you have nothing in particular currently going on or is it worse to just pop in and write something along the order of "This weekend was quiet. I did laundry, watched soccer, cooked, knitted, watched movies and obsessed once more about how much of my kitchen I can get into the new apartment and which pieces, if necessary, could be sacrificed."?

Ooops. Too late.

Personally for me as a writer and me as a reader, I just post when I have something to post or when inspiration hits.

Good luck in the new apartment.

Well, if you want to read some new comments from all your friends reminding you how much you are cared about, then post. If you're happy with the old ones, then don't :)

Good luck with the kitchen plans. And when the obsessing is too much, then get out the knitting needles!

My darling, I can completely understand the anguish of finding something to write. After all, Hugh has been holed up in the can since 1996 (or is it 1997? I forget), afraid of how to confront his cheating wife; and I am unable to write him out of there.

Perhaps I can try again to coax him out. On the bright side, he should have that bathroom completely remodeled by now.

I love you, Peaches.

Dude! How did you find me? Google, right?

I am so excited that you found me. I hope you emailed.

I am having "Free Hugh" put on tee shirts.

Love you, Jake.

I can't believe that you can install new kitchens in rented apartments. In New York you take what you get, and nobody would ever think of buying and then moving a kitchen. Amazing. Is that pretty much the norm there in Germany?

P. S. did you get the list? Of the little things that B would have done the day before "after"? If so, And he doesn't mind sharing it, e-mail me. I would love to know the small things that he misses. Sometimes they count so much more than people think.

That’s ok, there are weekends like that is everybody’s life. Besides laundry,I got the utility room cleaned up. My big accomplishment for the weekend.

katya, never underestimate the power of reorganization. look at john cusack in high fidelity. at least you didn't reorganize them biographically :)

also, sorry dix, for hijacking your comments to leave a message to someone else. i say you bring all of your kitchen with you and just leave some things in the living room and bedroom. it would be fun to have a countertop in the living room, i think.

Sweetie pie, you know me: I don't throw a damn thing away. Quite sad, I know. On the bright side, IKEA has all kinds of storage solutions :P

BTW, I do like the idea of "Free Hugh" T-shirts. Poor bugger has had it rough. I wonder if we can get Amnesty International involved on behalf of a fictional character?
