I love Lottie. My great grandma made mine. Brian bought me a kit for our first christmas together. That poor sock monkey. He looks like he was attacked by a cat.
Why isn't that monkey working on a pink and brown sock? That monkey hates me.

there are many reasons to have a sock monkey and all of them are good ones!
I once sent a sock monkey postcard to my brother while he was at boot camp. He called my mom to have her kindly ask me to never do anything like that ever again. Apparently, mail call is a public event in boot camp ... and he took quite a bit of teasing. Oh, well. I like to think it helped toughen him up!
Lottie always looks so happy, I like that.
OH! I just realized my sock monkey is naked except for his hat!!! Cheeky monkey!
